CLAT 2026 Provisional Answer Key Released; Last Date For Filing Objections Is December 12
The Consortium of National Law Universities has released the provisional answer key for both CLAT-UG and CLAT-PG 2026 and has invited objections from candidates who appeared for the test on December 7, 2025. As per the official notification, candidates may submit objections through the Consortium portal from 5:00 PM on December 10, 2025, until 5:00 PM on December 12, 2025, after which the objection link will be deactivated. The notification clearly states that objections submitted through email, support tickets, or phone calls will not be entertained, reinforcing that the online portal is the exclusive mode of submission.
A fee of Rs. 500 per objection is payable at the time of filing. The Consortium has clarified that this amount will be refunded to the same account from which it was paid if the objection is found valid and sustained. Requests to transfer the refunded amount to any other account will not be accepted. Objections submitted without payment of the prescribed fee will automatically be rejected.
The Process of Raising Objections is as follows:
a. Login to your CLAT account at https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2026/ and click on 'Submit Objections'
b. Click on the 'Submit Objection' button.
c. Select the Question Booklet set, 'Type of Objection', i.e., 'About the Answer Key' or 'About the Question', as appropriate.
d. Select question number, enter your objection details and click on 'Submit Objection'
e. Once all your objections are submitted, click the 'Make Payment' button to make payment.
