Delhi High Court Receives Bomb Threat Email; Judges and Lawyers Evacuate Premises

The Delhi High Court witnessed tense scenes on Friday morning after judges abruptly rose from their courts following the receipt of a bomb threat email.
According to court staff, judges informed lawyers that hearings would not continue and fresh dates were assigned for all matters listed. The email, addressed to Registrar General Arun Bhardwaj, was received at 10:41 AM, prompting immediate precautionary measures.
Soon after, a bomb disposal squad arrived at the court premises, and a bomb disposal van was seen stationed outside.
Sources revealed that the email warned of a possible blast inside the High Court building later in the day.
