A Public Interest Litigation has already been filed before the High Court challenging the revised fee structure, which the Association claims reflects an increase ranging from 400% to as high as 9900%. In its resolution, the Association expressed hope that no adverse orders would be passed due to non-appearance on the protest day, stating that the objective is solely to raise public awareness about the extent of injustice caused by the fee revision
