Supreme Court Collegium Approves Nine Advocates for Elevation as Judges of Patna High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium, at its meeting held on February 26, 2026, approved proposals for the appointment of nine advocates as Judges of the High Court of Judicature at Patna.
The advocates cleared for elevation are: Md. Nadim Seraj, Ranjan Kumar Jha, Kumar Manish, Sanjeev Kumar, Girijish Kumar, Alok Kumar, Raj Kumar, Rana Vikram Singh and Vikash Kumar.
As per the established appointment process, these recommendations will take effect once the Union Government has processed them and issued the warrants of appointment.
