The Central Government has approved the transfer of Delhi High Court judge Justice Chandra Dhari Singh to the Allahabad High Court, months after the Supreme Court Collegium's recommendation. The Ministry of Law and Justice issued the official notification on Friday.

The Supreme Court Collegium, led by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna and comprising Justices BR Gavai and Surya Kant, had recommended Justice Singh’s repatriation during its meetings held on November 28 and 29, 2024.
