The programme is open to Indian students who have completed the second year of a three-year law course, the third year of a five-year law course, or who have graduated from a recognized law institution. Applicants with advanced computer skills will receive preference.
Internships will generally span one month, beginning on the first working day of each month unless otherwise specified. Candidates interested in applying can submit their forms online through the Department’s website at https://legalaffairs.gov.in/internship. Along with the application, students must provide the necessary documents and a No Objection Certificate from their college or university, while graduates are required to upload their final year certificate.
The last date to apply is 8th May, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Applicants are advised to complete the process before this deadline.

At the conclusion of the internship, interns are required to submit a monthly report along with research work assigned during their tenure.
